Mahmoud Al-Khatib with Abdelhakim Sarrar, President of ES Setif
The Algerian newspaper, An-Nahar Online, revealed that Ahmed Kandoussi, the Algerian midfielder, ES Setif, is close to Al-Ahly of Egypt.
Abdel Hakim Sarrar, president of ES Setif, was on a visit to Al-Ahly club and met with Mahmoud Al-Khatib, the club’s president.
Al-Ahly club indicated that Sarar’s visit is a friendly one within the framework of consolidating relations between the two clubs.
For its part, Al-Nahar Online newspaper, according to its sources, revealed the imminent transfer of Kendoussi, midfielder ES Setif, from Al-Ahly this summer.
The report indicated that the visit of the President of ES Setif to Al-Ahly at the headquarters of the Egyptian Club is a courtesy visit.

The name of Kandoussi was associated with the Egyptian League clubs, before Sarar stated at the time that the player was not for sale.
Al-Ahly faced ES Setif in the African Champions League semi-finals.
