Mahmoud Fathallah, the general coach of the Pyramids team, denied talking about the possibility of Ramadan Sobhi joining Zamalek or Ashraf Bencharki joining his team.
Bencharki’s contract with Zamalek expires at the end of the current season, and he has the right to sign any team for free to play in its ranks starting from next season.
Fathallah said in statements via Ontime Sports 2: “The rumors that Ramadan Sobhi moved to Zamalek are incorrect and just talk on social media, and the player is happy in the club and does not want to leave.”
“Bencharki is a big and important player, but the matter of negotiating with him in Pyramids was not raised, and these are matters related to the club’s management,” he added.
Ramadan Sobhi participated in 15 games with Pyramids this season, during which he scored two goals and assisted three others.
Pyramids is in second place in the Egyptian League with 43 points from 21 matches.
