Salomon Kalou, a former Côte d’Ivoire and Chelsea star, has joined the ranks of Djibouti’s Arta Solar.
The Confederation of African Football confirmed that the former star of Côte d’Ivoire joined the Djibouti club on a short-term contract.
Carlos Kameni, Alexandre Song and Danny Nonkyo, former Cameroon stars, Senegal’s Diafra Sakho and Burkina Faso’s Alain Traore, who play for the same team, join.
Kalou, 36, won the Champions League with Chelsea in 2012.
He also won the 2015 African Cup of Nations with the Ivory Coast national team.
He also participated in the World Cup with the Ivory Coast twice, in 2010 and 2014.
