The duo Abdullah Gomaa and Sayed Abdullah “Neymar”, players of the first football team of Zamalek Club, participated in the group training that was held today, Wednesday, at Abdel Latif Abu Rjeila Stadium.
The duo suffered minor injuries in the last Al-Dakhiliya match, and underwent a medical test to ensure their readiness to train normally.
The team’s defender, Mohamed Abdel-Ghani, underwent a rehabilitation program to recover from the ankle injury he sustained during his participation in the match against Al-Dakhiliya in the Egypt Cup.
Abdel-Ghani obtained a break from the group training that was held at the Abdul Latif Abu Rjeila Stadium, provided that he perform a special rehabilitation program under the supervision of the medical staff.
Moroccan Mohamed Onajem began implementing the second phase of his rehabilitation program, after he was performing rehabilitation exercises in the gymnasium during the last period.
The player performed physical exercises with the training tools brought by the technical staff inside the stadium, and then performed stretches under the supervision of Andrea Philip, the load coach.
Midfielder Imam Ashour also participated in the training normally before the summit.
Zamalek is preparing to face Al-Ahly, scheduled for June 19, in the 20th round of the Premier League.
Zamalek is at the top of the league with 44 points from 20 matches, and Al-Ahly is in third place with 37 points from 16 matches.
